In the framework of “Donating trees for Tirana” initiative, with the purpose of growing vegetation and improving the capital’s environment, “ALSAR” Foundation, in cooperation with Tirana Municipality, at the end of March, carried out in the Farka Artificial Lake Park, the ceremony of donating 2500 pine saplings ornamental plants, as a modest contribution, to make the capital more beautiful and likeable.                                                                                                         

During this ceremony, the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj, expressed his gratitude to ALSAR Foundation for this contribution for future generations, as a meaningful action of love for life and nature. Whilst, “ALSAR” Foundation’s Head, Mr. Mehdi Gurra, expressing how grateful he is of the Tirana Municipality’s initiative for the city greening, stated: “We are very happy for being part of such initiative seeing that these areas are getting more and more beautiful”. 

A group of “ALSAR” Foundation students also joined this initiative for planting trees, who planted ornamental plants, giving the message that every day is a golden opportunity to cover Tirana’s landscape with colours, fresh air and greenery.
